Sir Joseph Norman Wisdom OBE (London, 1915 – February 4, Isle of Man, October 4, 2010) was a British comic actor.

Unstructured family lived with her father as a child, from hardship in childhood which led it to have to steal to eat sometimes. He started working at age thirteen and became interested through the world of interpretation while in the army during World War II, animated by actor rex harrison. It began in 1946 as companion of a magician, and a few years later became a prominent figure in British television. He was in the 1950s and 1960s for his Norman pitkin character in films such as “This life bitch”, “After the Navy”, “Spy force” and “Morning bird”. Charles chaplin considered him as his “favorite clown”.

Curiously was very successful in Albania during the dictatorship of enver hoxha, as his films were the only Western that is emitián in that country. He visited the country in 1995 and was surprised its popularity among its enthusiasts featuring Albania President at that time, sali berisha. In 2000 he was appointed Officer of the order of the British Empire.  Died on 4 October 2010 at the age of 95.
